SCHWEINCHEN

Schweinchen documents a decomposition study conducted by forensic biologist Dr. Mark Benecke under the artistic guidance of Jörg Buttgereit. The score was composed by Andre Abshagen, Buttgereit’s frequent collaborator for several audio dramas and documentaries. Benecke commissioned Michal Kosakowski (German Angst) with editing and producing the project. Poster art was created by Gilles Vranckx. After its world premiere at this year’s Berlinale, cult filmmaker Jörg Buttgereit will present his newest film in Ljubljana in person!

The film contains scenes that young or overly sensitive viewers might find shocking. No animals were hurt in the making of this film; they all died natural deaths before filming started.
